So, I am working a measley 16 hours a week. This has left me with a lot of free time, so I should really be using it productively by drawing or something. I got myself some clay this morning and have been toying around with making charms and other mini thingys to fill up time. They're not fantastic quality, but are fun and kinda cute. Practice will make perfect. Shame I am very impatient and easily
quit when it comes to arty projects.

The past month, I have been attending a figure and portrait class. This has focused on things like measured drawing and simplifying tone. Unfortunately I only have three more sessions as I'll be having to quit the class as I am moving back to Nottingham, but I thought I'd upload a week 1 and week 2 for portriat and figure, as I think the improvements are noticeable.

In the past few weeks I finished my history degree and started to job hunt. I had a go at apinting, but nothing great came of it. I've tried to go to life drawing classes throughout the last term of Uni, and I think I'm developing/ maintaining drawing ability, but still don't feel like I've got any creative worth going on. I'm also keeping a small A5 sketchbook in which I sketch poses, faces, or whatever as a sort of 'references' collection. Nothing especially interesting to report.

Well, I'm making slow progress! I've drawn out an A3 bar scene, which I'm hoping to start painting at the weekend (wish me luck). I've also been hit with inspiration for costume design, which has prompted me to enter *Angeliq 's 'Draw me'! contest and the '16 Elements/ Chaos and Energy' contest by =KyraShangea
Regarding the last one, I have my outfit designed for the 'Energy' Goddess, which is rather exciting
